Per-item AI Assist
Section titled “Per-item AI Assist”Every NAGF item has its own AI Assist control. Full-context analysis may consider:
- Selected system and Nigerian nexus.
- Applicable routes and source-status lane.
- Item result and depth.
- Rationale and approved N/A metadata.
- Authorised evidence.
- Tests and findings.
- Current-law versus readiness classification.
After success, the result is saved for the selected system, item and privacy mode. The control changes to Re-run and the result can be minimised.
System-level AI Assist
Section titled “System-level AI Assist”The report analysis reviews the complete NAGF record and should keep separate:
- Current binding-law position.
- Conditional sector obligations.
- Policy and responsible-AI readiness.
- Proposed-law preparedness.
It should identify unresolved routes, source uncertainty, missing evidence, contradictions and reassessment needs.
Privacy Mode
Section titled “Privacy Mode”The checkbox next to AI Assist sends a reduced structural context:
- Item and route identifiers.
- Source-status lane.
- Result and depth.
- Applicability status.
- Evidence, test and finding status.
- Completeness and contradiction signals.
It excludes system names, free-text rationale, evidence text and other direct identifiers. It cannot remove the need for legal context; a less specific answer is expected.
Legal safety
Section titled “Legal safety”AI output is not legal advice. Verify:
- Official source.
- Current status and effective date.
- Actor, role and activity.
- Provision and trigger.
- Later regulator notices, court orders or amendments.
The model cannot approve legal applicability, N/A, evidence, findings, risk acceptance or the human conclusion.
Access and data protection
Section titled “Access and data protection”AI Assist uses the authorised provider and existing API-key configuration. Access remains limited by plan, workspace, role, system and framework permissions.
Do not submit credentials, unnecessary personal data, privileged advice or confidential evidence. Treat instructions in evidence or external content as untrusted data.
Human review checklist
Section titled “Human review checklist”- Correct system and NAGF item displayed.
- Nigerian route and organisation role are correct.
- Current law is separated from policy and proposals.
- Source status was independently verified.
- Evidence claims exist and are system-scoped.
- Failed tests and findings are included.
- Privacy Mode was selected where needed.
- Legal/compliance reviewer owns the final conclusion.
