Global Search
Global Search helps locate systems, assessments and related governance records in the current workspace. Search results are constrained by the signed-in user’s tenant, workspace access, role and entitlements. Search does not grant access to the underlying record.
Search effectively
Section titled “Search effectively”- Use a stable system ID, control ID, owner, supplier or distinctive title where available.
- Open the result and verify system, workspace, framework and record status.
- Treat snippets as navigation aids, not the complete evidence or decision.
- Refine ambiguous searches rather than assuming the first result is correct.
Security and privacy
Section titled “Security and privacy”Do not use search to enumerate records beyond a legitimate work purpose. Results may contain sensitive governance metadata even when the underlying evidence is separately restricted. Report unexpected cross-workspace visibility immediately and do not investigate another tenant’s data.
If an expected record is absent, verify the selected workspace, your role, module entitlement, record status and spelling. Administrators should correct access at the source rather than copying content into a less restricted area.
